- Dark-ruby in color. The aroma of wood and its fruity components, reminiscent of dried plums and cherries, give this wine its typical note. Velvet-soft tannins with a decent background acidity give it its well-balanced structure.

- All red meat and all sorts of venison, lamb and barbeque dishes. Excellent with mushrooms and with nearly all kinds of cheeses.
