Mapu is a range produced by Baron Philippe de Rothschild from the central valley of Chile. The range offers seven wines in total each one represents juicy Chilean fruit and great value for money. These wines are always consistent and are so easy to appreciate thanks to their rich approachable fruit and soft elegant structure. This Sauvignon Blanc is always matured is stainless steel to retain that wonderful purity of fruit.
Tasting notes
This vintage displays classic Sauvignon character; fresh citrus fruit and a richer more tropical note of pineapple. The palate is fresh and crisp, but rounded and softer than you might expect. The fruit is juicy and ripe with perfectly balanced acidity. This is a straightforward, reliable summer tipple.
