An all-time popular varietal amongst Australians, Chardonnay is a white wine that is easy to drink. This wine is no exception to the rule.

HOW WE MAKE IT

The fruit is harvested during the cool of the night to retain maximum freshness and flavour. The fresh clarified juice is fermented using a specifically selected yeast to add complexity and texture. The wine is bottled at the Casella Family Winery in Yenda, New South Wales.

AROMA

[yellowtail] Chardonnay begins with a pale straw colour laced with light green hues and entails a broad range of vibrant lifted aromas including tropical fruits such as citrus, lemon and white peach with a light spice and vanilla undertone that continues through to the palate.

FLAVOUR

The perfect balance of citrus and peach flavours coats the mouth with a creamy mouth feel and persists to a long lingering finish of peach and white spice. This is a lovely fresh and zesty wine that is also supported nicely by subtle, vanilla oak.
