[yellow tail] is instantly recognisable, both for its appearance and its personality. This tasting note is designed to give you an insight into [yellow tail] Shiraz but if you want to cut to the chase it's simple - drink it, share it and enjoy it.
Often referred to as the classic Australian red wine, Shiraz is an easy to drink, all-time favourite. This wine is no exception to the rule.

HOW WE MAKE IT
[yellow tail] Shiraz is made with grapes sourced from the highest quality vineyards. Once the grapes are crushed and stems removed, they are fermented on skins in contact with oak. Temperature controlled fermentation ensures maximum varietal flavour, colour and tannin extraction. The wine is bottled at the Casella Family Winery in Yenda, New South Wales.
A youthful and vibrant red wine laced with purple hues. Concentrated black and blueberry fruit is complemented by subtle liquorice and notes of vanilla, mocha and spice.
Soft and juicy on the palate, with concentrated fruit flavours along with vanilla notes providing long, persistent flavour giving structure and a nicely weighted finish.
With a steak or in front of a roaring fire.
